Rest easy because you are protected. Rest easy knowing you are safe. God has created His angels and sends them to us to protect us our whole lives. Don’t seem sceptical about it because if it is proof you want, let the Bible do the job. In the Bible, angels have been mentioned a number of times as they were connected to miracles, giving out messages from God, protecting people, and serving them right. The following are verses from the Bible that mentions how angels are our protectors:
Psalm 9:11 “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all ways.”
In this passage, God deliberately and clearly stated that the angels are our protectors and they were sent to guide and guard us in all ways. By all ways, we can say that it covers everything that we might get exposed to in life, all the dangers and all the pain caused by natural disasters and emotional distress.
Luke 4:10 “For it is written, ‘He will command His angels concerning you to guard you carefully.’”
God wishes to protect all individuals through angels but only those who are true and loyal to Him. In the past, Satan challenged God to throw Himself off the cliff using the saying that the angels will protect you. However, Satan, evil as he is, purposely omitted a few words to change the meaning.
Matthew 18:10 “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of my Father who is in heaven.”
It is common fact that God loves the little children. Children are very easy to get close to our hearts because of their innocence of the things that are happening, and what we all want is to protect them in that little cocoon forever so that they may not be exposed to the dangers of life. In this passage, God gives emphasis to love children and never hate them because He loves them and they are important to Him. Also, it shows how non-discriminatory God is because He wants to protect all the children no matter who they are and where they come from.
Exodus 23:20 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”
Even as sinners, God still makes sure that we are kept safe from harm. This is because all of us are his children and all of us are close to His heart. Every day, we embark on the road to Him, trying to follow His ways and respecting His ideals. At times we fail to prosper as much as God wants us to but He always gives us pardon for our sins and gives us a chance to do better. With that, he sends His angels and tells them to continuously guide us so that we may still continue to grow and become better people.
